What are you plans for Memorial Day weekend?

My youngest has a baseball tournament this weekend and it is HOT here.  Since I'm cold all the time I'm looking forward to the hot summer days.  Monday we'll stay home and grill out.  They want to cook for mama :).  We are also going to work in the yard on Monday planting some flowers and making the flower beds look beautiful.

We are busy every evening with their activities so we'll grill a variety of meats and veggies, freeze some of it up and not have to worry about next weeks eats!

Saturday will be my own stuff:  grocery shopping, laundry and house cleaning

Sunday is my visiting day with my Dad

Monday I'm going to my #4 child's house for swimming and a BBQ with the rest of my kids and their families

 Saturday I am taking a CPR / AED class. On Sunday my son and I are going to smoke a Boston Butt and make some good old Eastern NC style BBQ. I am not going to eat the BBQ but it will be fun smoking the butt all day and chopping up the BBQ.

Family picnic on Monday.  Otherwise it will be a normal weekend.  Busy w/ kids stuff as usual (we have our grandaughters for awhile....age 6 & 7)  

Ummmmmmm....I dunno...

Today I am probably going to force the children to walk with me (they love it. they just don't KNOW they love it)

I really need to start packing but in the absence of a new house or an eviction notice from the mortgage company I don't feel particularly compelled to do so.

I know on Monday I'll be preparing for the Pouch Party I'm doing Tuesday and preparing my daughter for her class camping trip, which, blessedly, I don't have to go on!

But that's all I know.

Saturday morning I am helping lay out luminaries at the civil war cemetery with the girl/boy scouts.  We may go back Saturday night.  It is very moving, but I don't know if I want to fight the crowd.  Monday we are going to the lake with friends.

 WOrking tomorrow, Sunday working horses probably and then maybe the lake later in the afternoon. Im down a size in my bathing suit! STill dont look like Cindy Crawford, but I dont care! I know i look better than I did pre surgery and by gosh Im wearing my pretty new suit and getting some sun and fun in the water with the kiddos sunday AND monday!

I am working, and with a sinus infection no less....
