I think I have a prolapsed colon, Went to gyno he said it could be operated on now, but lets wait. In the mean time I feel like a tampon falling out between my legs and can feel the stool bulging into my vagina of course I,m constipated at that time. Calling different Dr. for second opinion.

Miralax saved me after surgery.....never been constipated before but two weeks after surgery I was in trouble.  Took mild of mag, two enemas and ended up in urgent care.  Miralax saved me.  Took awhile (didn't believe it would work) but it worked... It does soften the poop.....it helps draw moisture to there and helps get that stuff out.  I had to take it and stool softeners for awhile as it also happended two weeks later. Now i take it every 2-3 days.  TRY it....take it several times.   It SAVED me!!!!

Good luck!  I know you are miserable so don't give up!

I take daily:

1. Miralax one dose
2. Colace 2 x's  a day
3. Magnesium oxide (get at walmart) I take one with each calcium vitamin I have
4. Benefiber in my drinks-twice daily and I take double the dose 4 tsp, instead of 2
5. Acidopholus (chewable) daily

Try this, it really helps. If I miss any of these daily I can tell the next day as I get bloated and don't go as easily.  We need fiber but can't get much from food this early out so this helps tremendously! I go almost every day now.
