Let me just say stick to the eating schedule

I got very busy today.  I had an 8oz protein shake about 8:30 this morning and that is all I had until 6:00pm.  While I was driving from one place to the other today I noticed that I started to feel hungry.  Keep in mind that I don't feel hunger to often but keep to a good schedule of eating so that I get my protein in.  I can't eat just breakfast, lunch and dinner an get all my protein in so I do have at least one snack a day.

So back to the busy day.....I was getting so hungry that I wanted to pull over to a fast food place and buy a hamburger (oh such old behaviors).  I finally made it to my homestead and I had some meatloaf, and now I am paying for it.  I believe that I ate to fast because I am experiencing an upset stomach, something that I have not felt before.

I don't know what I was thinking leaving the house without any snack to fall back on.  Yesterday I was traveling all around and had two snacks with me.

My post is just to remind folks to be prepared, bring your snacks so that you don't get too hungry then you head starts talking.

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Easy to forget .. if that happens you can always swing by a grocery store and pick up a protein bar or a slice or two of deli meat/cheese.  I hate when I do that and wait it out - I invariably get an upset stomach from just the wait.

Blech, it could have been how they cooked the meatloaf. I know a lot of people who put A LOT of ketchup into their meatloaf mix. Or perhaps it was too fatty.

But yes, it's important to make sure you have access to nutritious snacks to tide you over.
