I use to use Detrol LA, but they no longer work with my bladder because they are long release type of medicine.  My GP doctor started me on oxybutynin.  Has any one used this?  Is it safe?  Before I call my bariatric doc, I thought I would check with you.  Thanks!!!

I have taken it for yrs and dont seem to have any problems with it. I did take detrol to begin with but it dried out my mouth so bad I begged for something different so he gave me oxybutnin and I didn't seem to have any side effects. Good luck!

I thought that was the generic name for Detrol. I take oxybutynin twice a day with no problems.
