Woo Hoo, Finally got my date

The scheduler called today and I had the option of June 21st or July 5th.   The sooner the better, but June 21st is my daughters 16th birthday.  So I had to opt for July 5th.  The process went way faster than I thought it would.  I did the seminar on April 6th, Surgeon appt April 11, sleep study April 25, stress echo test May 4th.  The only slow down was that my PCP didn't do all the lab work that was suppose to get done and she was very slow with getting me a letter of support.  Insurance packet was submitted on May 19th and I was approved on May 23rd.  Surgery date July 5th.  I'm so excited to start my new life.....and nervous and all those other wacky feelings.  It's going to take forever to get to July 5th.......Anyone else out there have the same date?

Congratulations!  My insurance packet was sent May 24th, so hopefully I'll be posting my own "got my date" post soon.

Congratulations!!! I'll be going in for surgery on July 5th as well. I'm reallt excited as well to start my new life as well. Talk about a great independence day

My surgery date is also June 21st. My process has taken 6 months. I am very excited to finally be having this surgery as I have been trying for 7 years to have the surgery. As the date approaches though I am getting nervous. You hear so many horror stories and I know there are alot of success stories out there too but just can't help feeling a lil scared.
