Really Full

I am almost 11 months out and sometimes I question how much restriction I have.  Even though I usually measure out what I eat I usually feel like I could eat more if I let myself.  I have never pushed it, though.  I always feel satisfied, like I have had enough but never really full.
Tonight my neighbor had a BBQ and made me a pork chop and some potato salad.  The pork chop looked to be about 4 oz.  I ate most of it, sharing a little with my dogs and I ate about 3 or 4 forks of the potato salad.  I felt like I usually do, satisfied but not stuffed.  Then I remembered I had some protein pudding in the fridge for dessert.  I could have lived without it but I decided to go ahead and have it.  I had about 1/2 cup and now I feel like I have eaten way too much.  I have not been this uncomfortable since my surgery.
I am actually pretty happy because now I know that I do have restriction.  I worried about that because with my first WLS the surgeon left my stomach too big and I was always hungry.  At the end I felt like I could eat as much as I did pre op.  I often ate to the point of feeling sick and I don't want to do that again.  I feel like I know what my limit is now.  I should have quit while I was ahead, feeling satisfied instead of pushing it with the pudding.  Next time I will know.

Hi Ladytazz.

You said you have protein pudding in the fridge. Would you mind sharing where you can get that/or how you make it? I'm just curious :)

BTW While not happy that you are uncomfortable, I'm glad you are able to breathe easier knowing you still have restriction :)

I was eating sugar free pudding cups but those have sugar alcohols in them and they didn't mix well with the unflavored protein so I decided to make them myself.
I use my Magic Bullet.  I use the small cup and use 1/2 cup milk, a little over a tablespoon of sugar free pudding mix and a scoop of unflavored whey protein isolate.  I blend it for at least a minute to get it really well mixed and put it in the refrigerator for at least 1/2 hour.  It takes longer to set but it will set after a bit.  It comes out to about 30 grams of protein.
