Would you like a steak? Well, I did...

I just wanted to share.  I have a hard time with shrinp and chicken, go figure.  Anyhow tonight I cooked some rib eyes in the oven , Delish.  I was going to use golden mushroom soup, but only had crem of chicken, lol.  It made the steak so moist and tender.  I didn't even need a knife.  I am a happy girl.  These are the cheap rib eyes from Wally WOrld.  Hey, it's what I can afford, and I am terrible at cooking steak.  But they turned out fabulous in the oven.  Enjoy.  And the scale finally moved,  Geez lou-eeze, I thought I was broken.  LMAO

That's great! I actually eat a lot of steak now. I have problems with a lot of other meats as well, for some reason. I buy some really nice lean sirloins from Costco, cut them up into small steaks for myself, then vacuum seal them with a home made marinade, and freeze them for later. The best part is that vacuum sealing them makes them soooo tender that you can just about cut them with a fork. I usually grill them up on my trusty George Foreman. :)

Sweetie, do not give in to the misconceptions of RNY.  You do not have to give up anything forever.  But you must give your tool time to work.  And be mindful of your triggers.  Steak is in your future.

I eat steak often. I buy really good steak and since my portions are small it's not that spendy. I can't reheat steak so I share with the boy.

Great minds think alike.....I cooked ribeyes tonight also. It was my first time eating steak and it was the best.  I also baked some sweet potato's but didn't get a chance to eat any because I was hooked on my steak and onions. I hope the scale will move for me...I have been stuck for about 3 weeks.
