Hi from a newbie

Hi  all

I am very new to this subject and have a ton (LOL) to learn.

I go to my 1st appointment on the 20th and don't know what to expect  ( I know that different hospitals require different things)     I am very nervous and excited   I don't know how long it will take before I know that I am accepted into the program.    And How long the process will take.   

Is there anyone     here that had their surgery at Geisinger hospital in Danville pa?

 Congrats to you!  It's a long journey but worth it in the end.  Just keep an open mind to what surgery is right for you.  I started out wanted a band, ended up with a RNY because that is what I needed to get the results I wanted.

I had a pretty quick go of it.. my first appointment was a week after Thanksgiving and I had my surgery March 14th I could have had it in February but I need another month for work stuff.. but wow it was fast! Hope you don't have to wait too long.
