Can't decide if this is right for me.

Gah! Ok, gonna keep trying to find it.

I meet Dr Sohi on the 24th. In the orientation session they said that the surgeon doesn't have a lot of time so the appointments aren't long. I have a ton of medical questions. Who would be the next best person to ask, the dietitian?  I'm nervous and excited.

I went through a lot of questions with Sohi... he didn't mind.

It depends on the questions, I guess. Anything to do with his quals as a surgeon, the actual prceedure, etc go to him. What kinds of things are you looking for?

How will this affect my thyroid. Will my thyroid make me gain a ton of weight again regardless of the RNY? Will I be on gall medications? How do you get a blockage and how common are they? Is there a relation between GERD & asthma  and will either go away?  Is there a difference between getting RNY & VSG and the length of time the hunger is under control since once removes the stomachs nerve center that misfires and makes ppl like me eat when not really hungry and the other doesn't?  That's only some, so you see why I'm not sure he will have time for me, lol.

Ah, OK... so he likely won't field all of those kinds of questions.... particularlty those that are not in his field of study. For questions on your thyroid, GERD, asthma, any pre-condition you have, he will likely refer you back to either your specialist, your primary care physician or Dr Glazier (the internist)..
