Feeling Really Good - 3 days post-op

I am feeling really good.  Not taking any more pain meds.........doing fine on my own.  I walked to the post box and back....10 min. each way..........no problem.  So now I'm sipping on my yummy protein shake!!  No nauseau..........no throwing up.  I think   I had my mind made up that I would be really ill!!  To my surprise the surgery wasn't that bad at all compared to the lapband surgery  I had 5 yrs. ago.  So happy they took that thing out.  I am band-free and loving it!!  -Holly

Thanks!! I truly am amazed that I can get my 60 oz. of fluid in too!!  Everything has been very uneventful.......just following the dr. orders and what the nutrionist says.  I don' know how much I lost..........they will weigh me in next Tuesday when  I have my 1 wk post op visit...........don't want to be getting on and off scales............once a week will be fine!!  -Holly

Congratulations! Great to hear you are doing well. Sometimes I think that is the problem with what you read on a forum. the people who write are often those with some form of trouble, or maybe that is just what sticks in the mind of a nervous pre-op? However it does seem you read less often about those of us (thus far) who have had a routine post-op course free of complications. Hope things continue to progress ...
