How did you feel post-op?

My surgery was very easy with minimal pain that did not require any meds beyond the 4th day. I had a bit of nausea for two days but I told the nurse and she gave me nausea meds through the IV so that was not an issue. Overall the surgery was a piece of cake for me. I hope you have the same experience. Good luck.
I am three days post op and my pain has been very minimal. The worst pain I've had is the pain from gas. Walking and breathing exercises have helped me with that.
If I had to chose what the worst thing I've had to deal with since surgery it would be not being able to gulp a drink .
I've had bouts of nausea, but I have not vomited. I think I've pinpointed the nausea down to when I drink too fast or eat too much jello in a short period of time. My body is telling me to slow down.

I think it is dependent on your pain tolerance. I have NO pain tolerance and was in A LOT of pain for the 1st week. the pain meds didn't work, I had to have lortab. I wish I would have prepared myself for the chance that I would have pain, I didn't and I think it made it worse. I had a c-section 9 years ago and that was a piece of cake compared to this. Do I regret it? not really. just not sure I will want plastic surgery since I heard that is even worse.
My opinion, prepare for the worst and maybe it won't be so bad. :)
