chobani as a meal

I love Chobani greek yogurt and my patients know it!  You are getting probiotics, calcium, and a good amount of protein with 16 grams in a 6 ounce cup of vanilla non-fat. It also contains 200 mg of calcium but 0 Vit D3 so remember to supplement as per your MD/RD's recommendation. The yogurt is good for B,L or D.

Please remember to include fiber from whole fruits and vegetables as tolerated along with at least 64 ounces of water per day between meals in order to prevent constipation and help with any gas or bloating.  The fiber from the yogurt like Activia helps patients to feel full. It helps to regulate those with digestive problems.

I usually have it for breakfast and the other morning I put in a few sprinkles of Crystal lite raspberry lemonade. It was great.
