THURSDAY GRATEFUL POST
Good Morning Everyone,
Hope everyone is having a wonderful week. Can't believe how quickly the weekends keep coming. It will be Christmas before we know it. Scary thought huh?? LOL Now back to my post. LOL We all have so very much in our lives to be grateful for. Life doesn't guarantee us anything and to be honest...most of us ( Me included ) take so many things for granted. Life can be taken from us all at a moments notice. This post is to remind us of the many small and large things in our lives to be grateful for everyday of our lives. PLEASE share with us if you would like to what you are grateful for today. Today I am grateful that I was born with 5 fingers and 5 toes and all my body parts. I for one take that for granted everyday. I am grateful for my arms, legs and the body that I have since my WLS....even though it is SO FAR from perfect....it is MY body and God blessed me with it. I am grateful for my husband who is so sweet and loves me unconditionally and I love him too. Grateful for family and friends. Grateful for everything that comes my way. Health is also something that I for one take for granted and I am so sorry for that. I am a very healthy person and for that I am truly grateful. Sorry this is so long. I am going to put a link to a video. If you didn't see it yesterday.....please take a minute to watch it. It will give you a "new perspective on being grateful" !!
Have a wonderful day.

Greatful for another day for this site. Greatful for a roof over my head, our First Black Prsident and Fisrt Lady.
For Dr. king Jr, and all others that had to fight for justice. I thank the Lord for changing cold hearted hearts and I pray Lord that you continue to work on those persons that still see my color and not me as a person. I thank you Lord for giving me wisdom.

After working for 10 years at a homeless shelter. I REALLY learned gratitude. Thanks for this post and the reminder. I am thankful for a totally shot knee. Yes, I am. Here is why. I' am 66 and NEVER been active, never swam or wanted to be in water. Well, my ortho dr wants me to build muscle in my legs propr to having a knee replacement. He insisted that I have physical therapy in WATER. I am terrified of water. But I did it and am loving it. (Still won't let go in the deep end,...but...I'm doin' what I need to.) My biggiest fear about my WLS (I'm pre-op) has been that I would not exercise. Well, now I can see myself doing it and I am sooo grateful for that. Thanks for asking. Writing this out has made it more real.

Jenna.....thank YOU for responding to this post. To be honest with you.....if you want to lose the weight and KEEP IT OFF.....you HAVE TO EXERCISE !!! At least walk or do something or you will find it creeping back on. SO grateful you like to exercise now. You will do fine after you have your WLS. We are ALL here to support and encourage you in this life changing journey.
