I am only 9 days out and woke up today just feeling a little down.  I know our bodies are going through a lot of changes so I'm assuming this is normal? Even had a little cry...........guess I feel a little better.  I don't know what is wrong..........I had an uneventful surgery..........no problems what so ever.....even down 15 lbs.  Just feeling a little sad today!!  -Holly

sure it is... youve just had major surgery.  Your body is healing.  youve just made a life changing, and *permenant* change to your body.

I had what I call "buyers remorse" for about a week, after I got home.  Didnt have anything to do with food... the thought of what I had done to my body set in.

I would say completely normal.  I think around day 10 I had a good cry.  Not sure why.... but it felt good to get it out.  Don't even know what prompted it???

Go for a walk,  get some fresh air.  This too shall pass!  You are doing amazing,  and this is part of our journey.

Hugs and love sent your way!

Very normal, the mood swings set in for me at about the end of the first week and lasted for about a month.  I would cry over nothing and became concerned that I was having a major depressive episode, but it subsided at about a month and I leveled out to what for me is "normal".

Very hard at first. You are changing lifetime habits, remember - forcefully - plus surgery is so hard on your body. Plus, for me - I felt so bad, couldn't do a whole lot, and I still felt SO fat even though I knew I had taken the first step to getting thinner. Things will be better everyday.

Totally normal. I had a couple of good cries after my surgery. One was teenager induced... the other I am not sure why. But I picked up the pieces, went for a walk, and sipped some water.... it was a moving on moment.

I recall reading something several weeks ago about the 10-14 day blues. I sure went through it, maybe you are too.

Hope you feel better soon
