lap band or bypass?

I lost 40 lbs in the year I had the LapBand before it slipped, catastrophically.  I was self pay at the time and couldn't afford a revision to RNY, so I simply had it removed.  In 2 years time, I gained back the 40 lbs.

I'm down 90 lbs now since my RNY on Jan 25th.  Slow progress compared to most guys, but I'm fine with it.  I LOVE my RNY, and the new life it's given me.  I'm no longer diabetic, my blood pressure is 112/68, and I feel wonderful.  The only down side is that none of my clothes fit =)

This is just MY opinion, but I wouldn't wish a LapBand on my worst enemy.
