Post Op, when did you buy your first fitted bra?

About 4 months out I was at the "after-Christmas" sales and got fitted at JCPenney. Mind you I was down 80 pounds!! I had gone down 3 band sizes and a cup size! I wore the new bra out of the store! LOL Playtex $20 bras--they had them buy one get one free...

I am down 120 lbs and have done new bras 3 times in the last 9 months. I usually just get 1 or 2 and make them work as long as I can and launder often. The best selection I found was at Kohls and after literally trying on about 40 bras I ended up with a 38DDD, I was desperate for a new bra and then shrunk out of it in just a month! I started at 46DDD and now wearing a 36DD or 38D or DD depending on the styles. It is AMAZING how many more bras are available and how much lower the prices are when you are in the 30's band sizes! I even found one at Walmart for $12.84 recently. I am for sure planning on plastics next year or 2 though!

Measure your chest under your breasts and that's the bra size, for example I am 40" and my bra size is 40. Try different cup sizes until you find what fits, some bras I am DD and some I am D. I used a regular household tape measure because that's all I had. I like LB balconette bras because they are padded and I don't get the headlights effect.
