Words of advice

Good luck to you, I had my surgery 8 weeks ago  yesterday,  and I watch the Food Network, and it doesnt  do anything to me, I  rarely have an appetite and it is hard to eat what I  need to. I am getting new recipes that I  can fix  for family and friends but I DONT get hungry  watching it.

Oh WOW!! thanks so much fo rthe good wishes and wonderful advice!  Thanks to whoever it was that suggested the pillow--I also will have that long of a ride home!!

I agree with coming online and chatting--it is the best to have support. My doc has a support group weekly and I plan on going back (made a few visits already) as soon as I can drive around. I will have my daughter here and my boyfriend and they will get my butt up and walking! I like th eidea of the pre op pic, too! I will definately do it. and I have posted a blog and plan on using that as my journal--I have a horrible handwriting, so this is better!!

OK, ya'll, I will let you know how I did and I will keep in touch!
