BeWare of Magnesium Oxide I started witht that but it started to pull the magnesium out of my body since we don't absorb oxide and I ended up with terrible pain in my chest that the Dr.s couldn't figure out. Then someone on the board clued me into the right Magnesium Citrate and within a week the pain was gone and now I notice when I have slack off  my chest gets that pain again so BEWARE not to take the oxide on a regular basis. Also be vigilant with your viitamins the deficencies sneak up on you and the side effects sometimes are irreversable.

I'm 7 weeks post-op and still get gassy after eating, but I think it took a whole month before I stopped constantly burping / farting, ridding myself of the surgery gas.

Benefiber is a good idea, but fiber only works if you are hydrated - so sip, sip, sip!!

Good luck and congrats on making it through the toughest part of recovery!  =)
