FRIDAY GRATEFUL POST
Good Friday Morning Everyone,
Hope everyone has had a wonderful week and are all ready for the weekend. This weekend my 25 yr. old son that we adopted from birth is going to meet his biological mother. He has been thinking about this for sometime now and decided that is something he really wanted to do to get some answers to some issues he has had since a teenager. I did some work yesterday and located her and spoke with her on the phone. I am calling her tomorrow to set up a meeting. Praying really had that goes well and he gets some much needed answers so he can get closure and move on with his life. Well....enough of that now. That has been on my mind for days....praying that I am making a wise decision and not opening a can or worms so to speak. As we ALL know this is a grateful post. A post for us to voice what we are grateful for in our lives....no matter how large or how small. We ALL have so very much in our lives to be grateful for. Today I am so grateful that even though things didn't look at first yesterday that I would be able to find his biological mom.....it did finally happen. Grateful for my Faith and answered prayers. Grateful for my WLS, all the choices for different WLS, my life and health, my husband and 3 sons, God's blessings of another day for me to live my life and make better choices with foods and whatever comes my way. Grateful for my 2 adopted sons and my 1 biological son. Grateful for Obesity Help and all the different message boards and for the upcoming OH Conference in New Orleans, La. Sept 9-10. I AM TRULY A PROUD PARENT! My next grad will be year 2015 and 2017. Thank you God for keeping your arms wrapped around my children.

I hope things turn out well for you and your son as he meets his bio mom. That has to be hard for you as well, kudos for helping him out with it.
Today I am grateful for:
-a job that has allowed me to be sick and go home early all this week and work from home
-healthy children
-great insurance coverage
-supportive friends and family
-my mom, who cooked dinner for my family 2x this week and brought it over while I rested and recovered from pneumonia
