What do you mean you're not losing weight anymore?

I'm not sure what you mean that your not losing weight anymore...........our window is 18 months..............it looks like you had surgery 5 days after me and I'm still losing.  Are you getting 80g. protein...........drinking at least 64 oz. fluid; eating 815 calories a day??  How much exercise are you getting??

I can honestly say NO to all of that stuff, and now that I think of it, when i slowed up on eating cause i thaught I was eating too frequently is when my weightloss slowed. I have lost 27-30 plbs since surgery, but it seems to not be moving at all now. I do sip water all day, its like im always thirsty for water so thats nota problem. But i was told to take in 30-40 protein a day. Am I wrong?? I dont want to go off on the wrong side and have failed. yes, I had surgery on the 21 of June, how often do you weigh your self, i was weighing myself every other day and was seeing it come off, then it stopped around last Wednesday.

The good news: you're right on schedule.

The bad news: it still SUCKS!

Everyone goes through a stall around weeks 3 - 4. Here's my dramatic re-enactment of what's going on inside YOUR body.

"Holy Crap! Ok...we aren't getting enough calories!!! We let go of all our water, what the HELL do we do now! Stop burning calories! For the love of all that is good and HOLY...stop burning the calories. Maybe she'll eat more soon and then we can burn again but for now shut this mofo DOWN!!!!"

Two weeks later:

"Ok...so that plan didn't work out so well. If we keep going like this we will die. We're going to have to burn fat. Bring on the fat! Burn baby burn!!!"

And that's when your losses begin to pick up again. See...all makes sense now, doesn't it?

You dont know how RELIEVED I am. Thank you so much for putting that into perspective for me. I dont feel like a failure anymore, I honestly thaught It was too early to stall but what do i know,,nothing obviously ;)  Im so thankful for the forums. I have been a nervous wreck for a few days and i actually got on and it went up a plb, but i went to the doctor and I was 3plbs lower than what i was. Anyhoo, imma take your word for it. Thanks a bunch.

My dietician said 60-80 grams of protein per day?  Maybe you should try uping that?  I haven't had surgery yet but just a guess?
