Milk of Magnesia after internal hernia surgery?

I was in the hospital for several days with a small case of diverticulitis. I ended up also having to have internal hernia surgery while there on july 4th.
Since being home I have only had one bowel movement and starting to feel bloated...
Do you think its ok to use Milk of Magnesia?
I have been taking stool softners but dont think its enough to help......

Yes, it Milk of Magnesia is ok.   Ive had two hernia surgeries and milk of magnesia was a life saver!    Take it before you end up in pain from being backed up.  

I had the exact same scenario.......Milk of Magnesia is the prescription from my Dr.

So nice to know Im not alone..though wouldnt wi**** on anyone!!!!!
