Have you become a divorce statistic--please share...

I think A LOT of people stay because they are COMFORTABLE. I find it interesting just how uncomfortable comfort can be though!! All the silent treatments, the emotions not shared, selfishness, the arguments...but then we often find comfort in there just being a warm body there--and sometimes even the body isn't there all that much! Years ago a friend said to me, "at least if I'm alone I have a chance at happiness when I'm no longer being brought down by someone else." I think about that and know it is so true. You are right love, marriage surely can be hard...
