I was thinking today about all the things that I can do now that make me feel strong and empowered--both physical and non-physical.

I'm interested in hearing about what makes you feel empowered. Share one thing or ten!

I know we are all stronger than we think--time to tell about it!

Here's to strength and power!

For me lately, its pushing myself and making it through - mainly in a physical sense. I recently completed the test for my second degree brown belt (it included a three mile run, an hour of PT, an hour of techniques/forms) and I made it. That made me feel very empowered. I feel good when I keep up with my exercise routine and push onto new things - lifting higher amounts of weights, running faster and longer, trying a new class......

In other ways? Just following through. Getting things done - home improvement projects, budget, work to do list....completing projects at work.

What makes me feel strong and empowered is knowing I can do anything even if I fall flat on my face. My DH is another part of me feeling strong and empowered- he is always back there urging (egging) me on and making sure if I start to give up he will boot me in the tailend (not literally!!)
