I'm right on board with everyone else.  I take Centrum Silver which has no iron so I take my multi and my calcium together.  But a multi with iron you don't want to take your calcium with.

I also take B-12 and B1.  B12 is very important and you don't want to go deficient there.

I take my multi with my calcium BUT my multi doesn't have iron in it. Calcium shouldn't be taken with any supplement that contains iron because the iron interferes with absorption.  I take my iron +C and B12 sublingual at lunch. Multi and calcium are morning and evening.

I think the calcium inhibits the absorbtion of the iron, not the other way around.  If you take them together, you should make sure to take iron at a different time during the day.

I agree with everyone else, as long as there is no iron in your multi you can take your calcium with it.  and YES you need b12!!!

I take
am: multi/calcium/b12/D/biotin
Lunch: multi/calcium
2pm: Calcium
4pm: Calcium
8pm: iron

My multi has iron in it and you are not supposed to take iron with calcium because it does not absorb properly.   You should wait two hours after taking your multi/iron before taking your first dose of calcium.
