Get some Devrom--it doesn't eliminate the gas, but it does remove the stinkies.

Watch your intake of sugar alcohols, also, as those are shown to give you "gastric distress".

Try Gas-X for elimination of gas;  for me it only makes my little pouch feel too full, so I don't take it. 

I do keep Devrom on hand!!

it is for the gas odors that MAY happen. not for the gas itself.

I haven't had gas problems since surgery.  I didn't have gas because of the surgery and not really any since.  I was slightly more gasy than normal after cabbage but that's it.  I shared that cabbage with the dog and let me tell you, *I* was not the stinky one!  I don't eat many carbs or sugar alcohols so maybe that's it? 

I'm sorry your friend gassed you.

Ya'll are cracking me up...my husband had RNY about 8 years ago and his is SO BAD!!  He keeps telling me "just wait & see".  I am def going to check on Devrom!
