Abdominal sweeling still after 3 weeks??

I have lost 12 pounds since surgery. I can see where the lower part of my abdomen is smaller, flatter. But, the "ground zero" area, where all the laproscopic incisions were made, it still looks bloated, swollen if you will. I feel fine, have normal bowel activity. Been drinking my water and not having any gas pains. Is it possible that I am still somewhat swollen from the surgery?

 absolutey... you had a lot done so it will take quite awhile for everything to heal and go back to normal. 

I had surgery the same day as you. My doctor said it could take a year for all the "swelling, lumps & bumps" to go away. I'm swollen too.

41 pounds?!! that is awesome!! Yeah, well, it ain't like my belly is going to be seeing a bikini anytime --ever!!   but I have been able to fit into a few things I couldn't pre surgery so I am happy about that!  Cool, I got someone with the same date--just thick how great it will be next year this time!!
