I just had my surgery on Wednesday and feel like I am starving!  I am wondering if these are upset stomach pains or hunger pains?  Does anyone else have similar experiences?

i would say probably not. it is most likely head hunger. As your nerve from your stomach to your brain that tells it your hungery was cut during the surgery. You are finally home and your normal thing would be to eat right? Try drinking some more fluids and as hard as it seems take you r mind off of food somehow. 

Nope, not hunger pains.  Are you on some kind of acid reducer, prilosec or something.  that will help. 
Get your liquids in and follow you program.  You will be fine.

I was starving after my surgery I  wasnt able to eat and my stomach was growling..Oh and extreemly thirsty.. I wasnt aloud to have anything till the night before I left the hosp.   yea the liquids helped.. but i had to get through it.. I was thinking not eating anything the whold 4 days I was in the hospital i was sure to loose some weight got home.. and nothing.. I couldnt believe it..
