I'd really talk to your surgeon that worked on your hernia. Lifting restrictions for RNY surgery are generally 15 pounds for about 3 weeks. Your hernia surgeon is familiar with your specific surgery, and would be the best source of this recommendation. I doubt riding a bike would be too bad, unless you are riding in an area with a lot of hilly terrain. DAVE

I would start with walking, if I were you. It seems like there'd be less stress on your midsection walking than riding a bike.
