What's your sign? Your FULL sign!

Prior to my surgery I had never even heard of having a "sign" where your body tells you that you are full.  Since then I have heard everything from a runny nose to a triple hiccup.  As I'm starting out on my road (day 6 post op- yay) I'm trying to figure out if I have a sign and if so, what it is.  Ironically, as I write this and sip my protein shake I have both a runny nose and just hiccuped.

So...what's your sign?  ;)

my sign is not as noticiable with the RNY as it was when I had my lapband.  Lapband I burped and new if I took another bite it would come back to visit me.  RNY,  I sometimes burp and know it is enough but not like I did with lapband.

The rapid-fire burplets are a sign. Unfortunately, they are usually a sign that I've gone over the comfort line.  I'll usually just feel full, but sometimes I still eat too dang fast and miss the first bell. Then the burplets tell me that I'm going to feel a bit gross for a while, in payment for not eating mindfully.

Sometimes I get a tight feeling and other times I feel like I need to burp. There are times when I don't feel anything at all and could probably continue to eat. It's kinda scary because it's not how it use to be. Oh well !

I am finally getting a full feeling back, I can feel it like I did pre-op and if I eat slow enough I am good, but when I eat too fast it's bad.  I think I eat less now because I can finally feel being full so I stop where before I gave my self 2 or 3 ounces then ate it all cause I didn't feel full....

Crazy surgery! LOL

Sometimes I can just feel it, sometimes I sneeze about four times in a row. The sneeze is becoming more and more common.

When my nose starts to run, I quit eating!

I have a friend who was lapband, and she also had the sniffles signal.  Unfortunately, she ignored
her signal, overate, and stretched out her esophagus to the point that she has to have a revision
to RNY to keep her esophagus from being her entire stomach.

Bummer.
