Sugar free cake ?/ Birthday

 all the bakeries in our local food stores have a sugar free section -there are usually angel food cakes and pound cake like varieties. My grandparents are diabetic and we always had the angel food cake with strawberries and sugar free cool whip and we didn't know the difference! Happy Birthday!

 Tomorrow is my birthday, too! My concern about cake would be it forming a "gum ball" in my stomach like untoasted bread.

I'm going to a cookout tomorrow with a friend whose is also having a birthday, and after I get home, my teen-age son is taking me out for ice cream--sugar free for me!

I saw a beautifully decorated sugar-free cake at the grocery store yesterday but unless you live near DC, I don't think that will help you. Still, can't hurt to make some calls around to the local bakeries!
