Thanks for the encouragement! I plan on following the doc's advice exactly. My surgery probably won't be until summer.....I'm planning it that way for the recoop time. (I'm a teacher). I don't want to have to worry about being sick, or any of the other complications in front of a roomfull of 7th graders!
Keep going, you are inspiring me.....

Are you taking in all your protein, water and vitamins? That's very important.

Keep in mind that you are still pretty swollen.  They also filled you up with extra water, so it takes time to get rid of that.  I was actually heavier than I was day of the surgery when I get home.  Also people lose at different rates.

I'm glad you feel so great.  Just keep in mind, when you weight yourself next week, most people don't lose the same amount every week.  It's even normal to lose nothing some weeks.  I just don't want you to be upset if you get on the scale and haven't lose another 13 pounds.

Totally Kelly. I am not looking for a 10lbs mark next week. Heck I'll be satisfied with just 4 lbs next week. I do keep busy and walk a lot so that's why I probably had such a huge number this week.

wow, airforcewife!  Congrats!  This is so encouraging to me because I'm set for surgery Aug. 29 and you know how you worry how it will be afterwards, whether you'll regret it, etc.  I hope I do as well as you and that you keep on trucking down the highway ahead of me!
