NSV- I got a JOB and had to by new scrubs!!
I am the type of person who's brain needs constant stimulation with learning. I left my job that I totally loved when I found out I was pregnant with the twins. I was very high risk and we would walk the halls on an average of 3 miles a day dealing with patients. Not an ideal situation for someone on bed rest.
So my friend call me and askes me if I want to be hired as an independent contractor to do health fairs (finger sticks, blood pressures and stuff like that). For right now it is only 1 Saturday a month. If I want to I can also do life insurance physical exams at clients home. SO, tonight I went to buy some new scrubs and they were an XL!!! The last time I bought scrubs they were a 3X. I am so excited. I am also so excited that I got a job making a crazy hourly wage just to do health fairs.
Eventually when the girls go to pre-school (next fall), I would like to return to my old job. (everytime I see my boss she says she will always have a job for me!) but if that doesn't work I could do the life insurance exams while they are at school. It's really weird how everything is just falling into place.
