So much good food at Moms!
And I was good! I didn't eat any of the food that was there! In fact I took my own little snacks with me to eat!The one thing that was trying to tempt me but I blocked it out was this huge red velvet cake my mother brought! It was sitting on the table in front of me and I didn't dare pick up that cake knife and cut it!! I'm very very proud of myself....and hubbie is too!

Good for you! I usually try to take my own snacks too and make sure I have something yummy. Um, probably not as yummy as red velvet cake, though. You know, I actually saw some yogurt in the store recently that was red velvet cake flavor. I can't remember what brand it was, though. I did not try it because it has more sugar than I like in yogurt. Plus I figured I'd be disappointed. Carbmaster has carrot cake flavor yogurt and I love carrot cake, but the carrot cake yogurt? I was disappointment.

It was a pot luck and the only thing I could have eaten was the baked chicken. Everything else was either store brought or from a restaurant or someone made which meant sugar, butter or whatever else.
I also ate two hours before going over there! I had 1/3 piece of lemon pepper chicken breast, about two tablespoons of mashed potatoes, and a few tablespoons of mashed carrots. I took my tortilla chips and salsa over there as well as a individual cup of applesauce for dessert!
