Tae Bo with Billy Blanks!

Before surgery I was doing Tae Bo with Billy Blanks on YouTube which the vid is about 14 mins...at the time I could only do 5 mins. of it!

Now I want to get back into doing it and start off doing 10 mins. and work my way up to the end.  My husband thinks it's to soon...I'm a month and 6 days post-op, feeling fine and need to get back to exercising.  Still can't lift heavy stuff, but I don't think 5 mins or 10 mins. of tae bo will hurt, I know my limits!

What do you guys think?

As long as you aren't lifting weights I think you should be ok.  My doctor cleared me to do all exercises at my two week check up.  Good Luck.

Be careful.  You might want to ask your doctor before starting something that aerobic.  My doctor had me start walking at 4 weeks and by 8 I was good to go for everything.

Definitely ask your doctor, you don't want to tear any tissue that is still healing..

I was good! I did do it for 5 mins and 35 seconds...but like I said I know my limits! Tomorrow is Walk Away The Lbs!  Going to try doing it for 6 mins.  Starting back off slow and working my way up to finishing the whole thing.

Lol! I did my Tae Bo video with Billy Blanks, today, for the first time in about 3 years! LOL! I stuck with it, and managed to fini**** all! I will admit, I couldn't keep up with him the whole time, but, focused on relearning the moves! I love Tae Bo, and the way it makes me feel when I am done! Were you an open RNY, or laproscopic? I would probably do what I could, but, take it super easy!
