I am feeling so much better after that shower.  I still have so much sticky stuff on my hands from the iv drip,  which by the way no one mentioned I would have a very salty taste in my mouth..,,yucko!!! Been following the every half hour schedule the doctors office gave me, working well. I am looking forward to sf pudding though....and cream soups. Hope all are well today and for those having surgey...Good Luck!!!! It is not that bad and you will be on the losers bench before long!

Wasn't that first shower amazing? I could just wash off with a rag at the hospital so my first real shower was yesterday afternoon. I just stood there. lol
I haven't had any kind of taste in my mouth from the surgery... that's interesting you have the salty taste.

Yay! I couldn't wait to shower either.

A tip for the sticky. Use a little of the the orange goo gone on a paper towel and rub the adhesive till it forms little ballies right before your next shower.  All the sticky will be gone in a flash.

Every day you'll feel a little better.  The diet stages go by fast.  Feels like forever while you're in them, but you'll be surprised when it's over and you're on to the next.

Good luck!!!

VERY SALTY TASTE......It is sickening actually.  I feel like i have had broth every minute!!  It started in the hospital and continues at home.  I can see why now my blood pressure was so high!!  I didn't realise there was so much salt in those fluids!  I guess it will lessen as I eat more and get it through my system. I was able to shower at the hospital but I did not wash my hair there. Today I feel very much like me

Yuck that salty tastes has got to be nasty like the taste of the Citrate of Magnesium ewwww! That does explain your high blood pressure in there wow! So happy you are feeling more like yourself you are over the hump How about some sugar free hard candies to suck on that may help the salty taste? Just a thought, you don't have to chew or swallow just suck the taste for a bit and spit it out! See you soon!
