OT: Started my new job!

Well today was day two at my new job as a medical transcriptionist. So far, so good. I actually got a lovely compliment from my boss. She emailed the gal *****commended me for the position and said she'd not made so few edits on a newbies work, regardless of experience, EVER! Made me feel really good. Guess I was worried for nothing. On the down side--my butt is not appreciating all this sitting. I'm really not used to it. I rarely sit in an average day. I'm definitely going to need a new chair with some better padding. Granted, once I get up to speed with their software and the specifics of each doc, I'll spend far less time doing it, so hopefully the butt pain won't be an issue for long.

Anyway, it feels really good to be using my brain again. I think I can feel the mommy mush brain already starting to reverse!!

Hope everyone is doing well and that those of you that felt the earthquake have recovered!!

Now if we can just get through this darn hurricane!! What's next? Locusts?? Crazy!

Take care all!

Denise

Boy does it ever feel good to be appreciated. Being a stay-home mom is one of the most thankless jobs in the world, so I'm looking forward to some kudos!! And the $$$ won't hurt either!

How about one of those big exercise balls?
Congrats on the new job. The mommy mush brain will come back as soon as you leave work..or at least mine does!

The ball is an interesting idea. I tend to have issues with my upper back getting tight when I type--I wonder if that would make it better or worse?
