Sorry, Need More Help

My potassium was low right after surgery, and I was given the liquid.  GAG! It is totally salty and I just about spewed it across the room.  If you can mix it with fruit juice it is a little better and I mean a little.

Hang in there, and keeping working the program.  I'm about 5 days out and it has been getting a little easier.

Agreed - it's the WORST thing ever! I only wish I'd been given the pills post-op like I had pre-op!! 

Wynter I haven't read the other replies and I know I'm late.  Call your surgeon and ask him to prescribe you liquid potassium.  They have it in liquid, far warning it taste horrible but if I recall I had to take it 2x a day for 3 days and that was it.
