TUESDAY GRATEFUL POST

  Good Morning Everyone,

I got up early today...not sure why yet.   So how is your week going?   Hopefully very well.   Hard to believe that the OH Conference in New Orleans is just a little over a week away.   I am REALLY getting excited about going to New Orleans.    If you aren't going....it is still NOT TOO LATE to attend.   BUT it is getting close !!!  So if you are sitting on the fence trying to decide....get off and DO IT !!   Today I am SO grateful for Obesity Help and all the wonderful people on this site.    Grateful for my WLS and all the choices for WLS.    Grateful for my life and health, family and friends. for second chances to make better choices in my life,   grateful for my Faith and answered prayers.    Grateful for the upcoming OH Conference and excited to meet new people there that I talk to on the message boards.    Grateful for chances to learn new things and grow.      PLEASE share with us if you will what you are grateful for today.

What a beautiful fall morning here in Michigan! I am grateful for nature and it's beauty. This morning my dear nephew left for college. He came to us slightly broken from very poor cir****tances 15 months ago. He was determined to suceed and did not let anything bring him down for long. I am so very happy for him and grateful to have witnessed his journey thus far. I am grateful for my job at school which began yesterday with our annual Open House.  I am grateful today for new beginings, some of which have been given to me from WLS. The OH site gives me support and the opportunity to give back. Kahwren

 Congratulations to your nephew.   College is a new adventure and he is SO lucky to have a caring Aunt.    Congrats on your Open House last night and beginning of the school year.   Have a blessed day .

I am greatful at how amazing God is. I heard footsteps on my roof during the earthquake and that can't be explained or some science reseacher trying to come up with the reason.

It was the Lord. He is the creater of this earth and nowhere is it found in history books that someone else created the heavans and the earth.

I am so thankful that my family was not hurt and that my children know who the the Lord thy God is. He is an awesome wonder and will not be figured out. I thank God for giving me rest in the hospital after having a bit of pain after surgery.

Thankful for my surgeon that checked on me several times each day except for Sunday because she was'nt there. I thank God for guiding her hands and keeping her thoughts clear.

I am having hot and cold moments post op now but thank you lord anyhow. I can't thank him enough. I am greatful to know that no matter how many good deads you do..that will not give you a pass to heaven,it's in his words. I thank you Lord for forgiving me of my sins and baptizing me in Jesus name and giving my parents knowledge of the real truth of your word and that it was taught to me and now my children know not to put no other idols before you. No materialistic item will ever come before my faith for you Lord.
I just get happy and could go on and on. This is my testimony.

 Amen !!!  WOW that was an amazing Grateful post !!!!  I too am grateful that you and your family are OK after that Earthquake.   They are pretty scarey.    Take care and the "being cold" will remain with you for quite sometime.   This is the first summer that I have not carried a jacket with me everywhere I went and gotten looked at like I am a nut.    I am almost 6 yrs. post op RNY and my body has just now warmed up somewhat.   LOL   Have a blessed day sweetie and I am SO grateful you are doing well from you WLS.
