Iron...Carbonyl???
You can use other types, but we usually absorb carbonyl better (it's not like with calcium, where if we take carbonate we will absorb so little we might as well be taking nothing). Carbonyl is also much less likely to make you constipated.
I order mine from drugstore.com and get the Sundown Perfect Iron. I think some stores carry that, too. There is a brand called Feosol that you can usually get at CVS, too. They make both carbonate and ferrous sulfate so you have to pay attention to the label to make sure you're getting the one you want. I think the Sundown is cheaper, though.

You can either get the tender irons from vitalady.com - 60mg capsules which already have the vitmain C in them, 25mg chewables in which you have to add vitamin C to (200mg of vitamin C for every 30mg of iron) or you can go locally and get Feosol but make sure the box says carbonyl iron because they also make a ferrous sulfate. Feosol is 45mg each and you also need to add vitamin C to them.
