Today, I ran. Yup I did. I even ran hills, pushing 2, 25lb babies in a jog stroller. It felt so good. I have wanted to get back into running ( I was on the track team in HS and loved to run in my 20's) and it was such a wonderful feeling. I had a Pulmonary embolism 2 yrs ago (after the birth of my twins) and lost complete function in my left lower lobe. It has lots of scar tissue b/c my lung became infarcted. On a day to day basis I don't feel it. But today during and after running, it was burning and I still feel it several hours later. I know with continued exertion it will start to feel better.

J-Lo/Kim Kardashian booty here I come! LOL

Oh how wonderful. What a great NSV. We had surgery about the same time. Other than the running, which is incredible.....how are your doing? Settling into the new lifestyle nicely? You have done amazing since your surgery.

That's awesome!! My surgeons office holds a 5K and it's coming up in October. I was hoping to make it, but I just dont know yet... Might need to wait for the next one since I'm afraid to even try to start running lol I just need to suck it up and go! I know... But I couldnt even run in Jr. High so it freaks me out to try haha But I am the weight I was in 6th grade now and taller... hmm... lol But good for you!!!!
