Parents say the darndest things (long)

I read your posts to my husband and he's going off about how your parents need to back off and you are just fine the way you are! Love that man! Sounds like your mom, in particular, needs a "come to Jesus" talk about her weight hangups.

By the way, sounds to me like you're a GREAT mom, having raised daughters who will stand up for themselves and you.

Your husband sounds like a keeper!  LOL.
