How do you feel with other drinks?  Herbal tea?  Skim milk?  Broth?  Do sugar free popsicles give you cramps?

I used to have the same reaction when I drank.  It felt like the fluid was just hitting the intestines and causing cramps.  It wasn't all the time thankfully but I remember noticing it.  I haven't had that happen for a while so it should get better.
You need to drink to help avoid constipation.  Also try taking some Miralax every day to get things going.  I have to take a dose daily along with 500 mg magnesium oxide twice a day and a lot of fiber to keep things moving along.

I went through a couple of weeks where water cramped me up - no matter the temp, flavor, or type of flavoring. I was able to drink a little skim milk, some G2 and my protein shakes ****il I got sick of the same ones ). And I have a SF popsicle pretty much every night.
It has gotten better, so hang in there! (gotta keep the fluids in so everything else can come out )

I went through this the first few days after surgery.  Mom got a pack of pedialite pops.  I could only eat half of one at the time due to volume and the sugar that is in them, but it helped.  SF popsicles also helped but they didnt have the electrolytes like the pedia lite.

Thanks everyone, I do eat SF icepops,,,, they work but the splenda is starting to make me sick. Long story short I started my period today after like 3-4 months, so after this week hopefully I won't have the problem any longer.
