quick sharp pain on left side after eating?

Anyone ever get a quick sharp pain on your left side of your tummy around the waist a few minutes after you eat? It comes and goes, what do u think it could be??

 I am curious too, as I get these. 

I know, im not sure what it is, i'm 2 years out and i still get that, sometimes i think its from eating too much. Sometimes they get bad where I am doubled over.

Sounds like a possible ulcer in the remnant stomach. It is still producing acid, but without the food to help neutralize is.

Try taking a PPI and see if that will stop the pain. You can always contact your surgeon.

Protein Pump Inhibitor (PPI).  It's like Prilosec (but get generic).

I bought the generic PPI...How many do you take a day 1 or 2? I forget

"over the counter" dose is one pill per day.  However, when my heartburn was the worst, I was taking two a day on the advice of my surgeon.  That was when I had the crap band of course!
