I'm looking for suggestions, support group to help with getting back on track.

Is there anyone in New Braunfels Texas that's inters ted in starting a support/exercise group??

Thinking about trying an all liquid diet for a week or two also..

I'd appreciate any advice..

Track everybite that goes into your mouth. I'd suggest limiting your calories to about 1200 per day. You can do it, but you have to put forth the effort.

Go back to basics - eat protein first, exercise daily, no drinking with or for 30 mins after meals, write down everything you eat and take your vitamins.

Going on a liquid diet will most likely mess with your metabolism (as it did for most of us before WLS!!!) and could well result in you going back to a life of yo-yo dieting. Try and increase your metabolism by eating and exercising well!!!

We do an accountability post/thread on the Grads board where everyone posts what they ate and it's up for everyone to see and comment on..Sort of keeps us honest cuz anyone can call us on what we eat and we (usually) are good about making an accounting of our actions. Lately I've added some walking and less computer but that's just me..

You're welcome to pop on over to see what we're all doing.

Someone already suggested journaling your intake..that's a really good place to start cuz you might think you're doing awesome but when you look at the stats and the list you might find that you're eating too many white carbs like bread, pasta, rice, sugar..that's a big no no..

and water..you need to be getting enough water. I drink 120 oz of water a day, just because it's hot where I live and it feels good to me. I also consider exercise a dirty word but I'm trying. I park further from the stores, I walk as much as I can at work with a desk job..It really is all about MORE movement..
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!
