If it stretches a little, will it go back?

I know this is probably a stupid question, but I was reading this article earlier on why you aren't supposed to drink while you eat.  I knew that it would wash food out of your pouch and cause you to hunger more quickly.  However, the article said that when it forced the food out of your pouch, it could stretch out your stoma to the size of your pouch, in essence causing you to have a 20 ft stomach!  That's terrifying to me!!
I have been known to drink while I eat.  (I don't always.. and will NEVER again).  I assume that I haven't done too much damage, because I still don't eat very much.. nor do I often feel hunger.  BUT.. if I HAD managed to stretch it a LITTLE.. would it eventually go back to "normal" if I didn't do anything else to cause it damage?  (I assume not, but thought I would ask).
The article also says that once you are a ways out, that you should wait NINTY minutes after eating before drinking.  OMG!  How will I get all my fluids in?!?!

I'm not sure, but I imagine the stoma is a little bit stretchy naturally.  Which would mean it could stetch out a little bit and then go back.

I have not seen any stats, but it's my understanding that while the stoma can get stretched out too much, it doesn't happen real often.

I'd have a hard time getting all my fluids in too if I waited 90 minutes to drink!  Let's see, I eat six times a day, it probably takes about 20 minutes per meal but I'm gonna round up to half an hour.  If I waited 90 minutes to drink, that would be 12 hours out of the day I could not drink.  Let's supposed I slept eight hours a night like a normal person, and I'd only have four hours each day that I could drink.  Yeah, I don't see that working for me.

I've heard drinking while eating can force the food to pass quicker through the stoma which seems like it could possibly cause some stretching; however, I would think repeated drinking may be an issue an occassional sip shouldn't (no proof) cause any major damage.  To be cautious I'd limit or totally restrict drinking while eating.

I still make it a point to not drink while eating.  There have been a few times I did sip water after, especially if I've eaten Mexican food.  I always feel like I have a filmy feeling in my mouth after eating it and can't stand that feeling.

The stomach is a muscle which will naturally expand and contract, and yea if you pu**** constantly, it's gonna hold more food, but your stomach will never get close to the original size. (Quoting my Surgeon + medical references)
