Starving DH to death...........

My wife and family have been extremely supportive of me too. I found after the surgery that I am loving to cook more and more, and involving my daughter too. My wife eats like a bird anyway, and my son is a picky six year old who won't eat anything. So my daughter and I have my meals and the rest of them fend for themselves.
Renegotiate your deal if you're going to want to cook less than you did before. Suggest to him that he pick out some easy snack foods (healthy stuff) that he can have in the house for times you aren't eating much and he doesn't want to cook himself a meal.
You're not starving him to death, though. He is capable of going into the kitchen and getting his own food.
