Did anyone notice having thier teeth become extremely sensitive during the liquid pre op and post op?  I'm just curious if it's just me, or if this is normal.

Thanks.!

I have no idea why the pre op diet would cause increased tooth sensitivity, nor why you would have more sensitive teeth in the early post op period.

When I saw the title of this post, I thought maybe you were further along post op and was going to suggest that perhaps you hadn't been getting enough calcium or other minerals, which could cause damage to your teeth.  But that would not be the case during the pre op diet or just after surgery.  If it continues, you might want to see a dentist.

thanks.  I was just thinking that perhaps since I haven't been chewing that might be causing it.  I've always had sensitive teeth, I've just noticed it to an extreme recently.
