This stall is driving me nuts
Just a bit more than 5 months post op, have done great, but this 5 + week stall is driving me nuts. Getting in a minumum of 64 ounces of water a day, a minimum of 80 grams of protein. I think my caloric intake is a bit low (around 800-900 calories a day). Plus getting all my vitamins in.
Also, had a knee injury about a month ago so physical activity is way down.
My work schedule has also been nuts with travel weekly the past 8 week ... I think more than anything this is a large reason for the stall. Staying in hotels 3-4 nights a week and alot of airtravel.
Think I'm more frustrated and needing to vent. There are huge positives and NSV's... now I can sit in an airplane seat and not touch either side. Down from a size 22 pants to a 14 (ladies .. not women's). It goes without saying I feel great.
Thanks for listening.

Be patient - all that traveling usually puts on a lot of weight, but you're holding steady even with the knee injury. Typically weight loss starts to slow down at about 6 months, so you're battling 3 things at once - travel, less exercise, and the natural slowdown. So be patient - when you get back to a normal routine, the weight should come off.
I had the same NSV about fitting into an airplane seat. It sure felt great!

I had my surgery May 2nd, about a week after you. In july I had a knee injury that has kept me from working out since July 10th, my 40th birthday. So I am exactly like you.
Well, in September I had the worst stall. I got stuck at about 177, would go down then back up and just sat in this 5lb up and down for almost 3 weeks. I believe there isn't much we can really do about the stall, but I do think that sometimes just trying to change things up helps up to get through it, makes us feel like we are doing something about it. Eventually is broke, and when it did I broke BIG, went down 10lbs really fast. I am now down to 166. Also, we are getting to the point where the WL is going to slow down. I am trying to ready myself for 5lbs a month loss rather then the 10 I have been experiencing.
It will break, try to eat more calories, 900 seems really low. I get about 1200 a day.
