Is it even possible? 26lbs/28 days?

So, I am supposed to lose at least 26 pounds on my liquid diet over the next 28 days. I am on all Modifast shakes, soups and pudding, not to exceed 880 calories a day. I am 324 pounds (dammit), 5'9". I am REALLY trying to stay positive, but right now it feels like I am facing a stone wall. Has anyone else pulled off this much this fast?
Pretty pretty please, don't you ever ever feel like you're less than f*ckin' perfect.

I personally think these liquid diets are just horrible, and not medically sound.

However, that being said, I have absolutely NOTHING to say that can help. All
I can say is to do as much protein shakes, Isopure RTD, etc., to keep you from
major hunger pangs, which is what I did when I was waiting for my surgery date.

Best wishes, and lots of hugs.

Wouldn't you think they would want you to go into surgery strong and healthy? lol

You may or may not be able to do this.  My guess is that you were supposed to lose some wt by now, and now you've gotten a final ultimatum from your surgeon.  I lost that much wt in the 3-4 weeks prior to surgery.  Exercise will help you too, as well as drinking plenty of water 30 minutes prior to drinking shakes or eating allowed items.  Adding protein to pudding or other soft foods may help too.  Good luck. No, I was not supposed to lose anything before now. My surgeon told me today that they expect a patient to lose 8-10% of their total weight in the last four weeks before surgery while on the powder diet, which starts tomorrow for me. I am not supposed to add protein to anything. I am just supposed to have these powdered products four times a day.

These powders are sold by the physician's office, I daresay??  800 Calories a day is absolutely
torture.

Use protein powders or you may find yourself so hungry you'll be tempted to eat the paint off the
walls!
.
Do your best

No, it doesn't work that way here. The doctors all have the same program, but they offer you 6 or 7 different "powder diet" brands to choose from. I got the one that had hot options. The rest are all shakes. Blech. I can do this, though.

They said they wouldn't do the surgery if I didn't lose the 8%. I guess I just wish I had had some kind of warning. Maybe it's better going into this shocked. lol

I lost 21 pounds in ten days on my liquid diet before surgery. So yes I think it is possible.
