So, post meltdown update... (YAY!)
For those of you who were spared my whining/complaining, I'll catch you up. I hadn't been eating enough calories. I was only getting about 450 - 500 a day. I posted about it and was told to eat more or risk messing up my metabolism. Well, I trust the people here more than I trust most "professionals", so I did as I was told. I increased my calories by almost 600 a day.
A couple of days ago, I stepped on the scale and I had hit 149. Highest weight since March. I freaked out. (Stupid, really).
Ok: Now for the update: I am back down to 144 despite the fact that I haven't been able to err.. poo for a couple of days, and my period is getting ready to start. I guess my body just needed to adjust to the sudden increase in calories and I might actually come out of this a few pounds lighter than I started. (And, I am sure, quite a bit healthier!).
I still plan to start therapy the moment my medical insurance kicks in, but for now, I'm good. =]
Thank you to everyone for the support during my silly panic attack. =]
